About Eagle Mountain Lake Marinas

Eagle Mountain Marina in Fort Worth, TexasEagle Mountain Lake is a freshwater lake in North Texas. The lake was created by damming the West Fork of the Trinity River and sits below Lake Bridgeport and above Lake Worth (Texas). The lake dam was finished on October 24, 1932. In 1965, the District voters (Tarrant Regional Water District) approved a bond issue to allow the District to install improved controlled spillways. Eagle Mountain Lake is used for boating and fishing and also water sports such as wake boarding, water skiing, and kayaking.
